Mural Paraíso
If you appreciate street art, you could spend days just walking around looking at murals. Forty two hills of stair beauty and art. If you want to paint a wall, you want to paint it here.
Our second room of four. Flatiron shape building, view of the bottom fork of Cerro Alegre, the merge of downtown. The downtown is a little seedier, but very real, feels so much like the San Francisco of South America complete with steep hills and fog.
The top of Cerro Algre is where we decided we would cold call a mural, and it worked! - we found the perfect place to paint our Valparaíso dream mural. We painted this beast on the front of Acuarela Hostel in nine days.
There is a farmers market two doors down on the corner, four times a week and the breakfast at the hostel is intricate. The volunteers and the owners are real art admirers making it so easy to work with them, thanks again, Daniela!
And so it began..
