So nice, had to do it twice
Guna Yala is a semi-autonomous nation located within Panama, previously named but still commonly referred to as San Blas. Containing a sliver of jungle Caribbean Coast stretching to Colombia and the archipelago of 365 islands, 52 of which are used for tourism. We visited the same island twice and we'd go back again, the chilling was that good.
Our recommendation, if you want to have a good time, is to drink rum with the locals. This photo was a special request from our island host and completed after a beach bonfire and over a bottle of rum.
Day trips are available to many surrounding islands and adventures. Including a shipwreck, "La Piscina" (a one square mile area of knee deep water with no land in site), and endless snorkeling.
