Sketches in the Redwoods

I was fortunate enough to spend some time this fall drawing my way up the Redwood Coast.

The redwoods are regarded as Bigfoot county, and ingrained in the local culture. Not a myth to many in the area.

When you are surrounded by massive trees, there tends to be an all around religion of nature. This is what the mood feels like.

Bought a small roll of green glitter tape and made some prickly pear cut outs.

Started introducing gold to the limited palette in anticipation of Asian travels.

While it's obvious we have a love for maps, this is my first time drawing so specifically inspired by topographical lines. Going to explore this further soon.
